  4. *Describe the ending of the novel The Phantom of the Opera. Give evidence from the text to
    support your answer. (20 marks)

Based on the novel, The Phantom of The Opera, by Gaston Leroux, I would like to
describe an ending of this novel. After Christine kissed Erik with sincerely, and emotional
Erik kneels before Christine and releases her from restricted. Erik also give her to marry
    Raoul.

For weeks, all Paris talked about Christine, Raoul and Erik whether they were still
alive or dead? Some weeks, after that famous night, Madame Giry looking for the Persian. She
asked the Persian where are Erik now? Then, the Persian said slowly, "The Phantom is dead now".
The Persian also said he saw Erik's body three days ago.

After that, they talked about Raoul and Christine. Nobody in Paris ever saw Raoul and
Christine again. They probably got married and lived happily in the North.

So, I would like to stress again that finally Raoul and Christine get together happily.

*From your point of view, state whether you like or dislike the ending of the story.

Based on the novel, The Phantom of The Opera, by Gaston Leroux, I would like to
describe why I dislike the ending of the novel. My first evidence, I protest Chistine married
with Raoul. Many girls get attracted to Raoul because that he is smart looking and this doesn't
mean he is noble to Christine. Raoul will feel great if he knows many girls obsess with him and
one day, he might be fall in love with one of them.

My second evidence is about his smart loking face. Between Raoul and Erik, of course Raoul
was very smart looking than Erik. Eventhough Erik is ugly, he still stands a chance to look
handsome and smart looking by under going plastic surgery. Once Erik handsome, he doesn't need to
wear a mask anymore. He can freely goes anywhere and I'm sure he will get attracted by Christine
and the girls that meet him.

Beside that, my third evidence is Erik also can be a wealthy aristocrat like Raoul. He is
talanted and intelligent person. Erik helped to build the Opera house with it's secret doors,
underground passengers and the house on the lake. He was gefted with a brilliant brain and this
is an advantage to him. He can be a famous builder in the world and can make a lot of money.

Based on te evidence given, I strictly agree Erik married to Christine. I would like to
stress that Erik status can be equal to Raoul in any method to win Christine love.

  6. Based on the novel The Phantom of the Opera, written by Gaston Leroux, I would like to describe the ending of the novel. That is in Chapter 8, 9 and 10. The first evident is in Chapter
    8. There was a frightening event in this chapter. That is when Christine Daae dissapears from
the stage during a performance. It was a Saturday and Christine was to sing in the opera on that
day. She appeared on stage looking very white in the face and afraid. The Opera House was packed
because many people wanted to hear Christine sing. She sang very well. When she began to sing the
famous love song, all the lights in The Opera House went out. A woman screamed and then the lights
come on again. Christine had dissapeared from the stage and could not be found anywhere. The Opera
House went mad. The Persian and Raoul were seen going into Christine's dressing room. However,
they too dissapeared and could not be found in the Opera House.

The second evident is in Chapter 9. There was a dangerous situation came up in this chapter.
That is when the Persian and Raoul ended up in the room of mirrors. They had gone to find Christine
and had mistakenly entered Erik's torture room. In the room, the men heard Erik laugh. This told
them that Erik knew that they were there and were trapped. The floor, walls and ceiling of the room
were made up of mirrors. There were pictures in the mirrors of rivers, trees and flowers. The pictures
moved and danced in front of their eyes. The room become hotter and hotter. The men were thirsty and
very tired. They would have died if Erik had not released them. Erik told Chrisine if she does not
want to marry him, they will going to die there. Christine realises that Raoul's life in danger.
She agrees to marry Erik. She kisses Erik because she feels sorry for him. Erik is so touched by
Christine's kiss and her willingness to marry him. He has achieved what he set out to do and should
have been very happy. However, he knows that Christine and Raoul really love each other. He decides
to set Christine free and not harm Raoul, in order that they may be together for the rest of their lives.

The third evident to support my answer is in chapter 10. Everyone in Paris discussed that
night's incident for a long time. One day, Madame Giry visits the Persian and learns that the
Phantom is dead. The Persian tells her of his past friendship with Erik who has artistic, architectural and ventriloquism skills. Erik had helped to build the Opera House and his secret house on the lake. Rejected by society, Erik had lived a life of half-man and half-phantom. As for Raoul and Christine, they probably got married and lived happily in the north.

I want to stress once again that the ending of the novel The Phantom of The Opera was very good. I really did not expect Erik to release Christine. His behaviour up to that point in the story had been that of a ruthless and merciless man who will do anything to get what he wants. It is a pleasent surprise to find that Erik does have some redeeming quality in him and is able to realise that Christine can never be happy with him.

    1. Based on the novel Phantom of the Opera written by Gaston Leroux, describe the ending of the story. Give evidence from the text to support your answer.
    (20 marks)

    Answer :-
Based on the novel Phantom of the Opera written by Gaston Leroux, the ending of the story is the climax of the novel. The first evidence to support my answer is when Raoul and the Persian are trapped in the room of mirrors. Christine agrees to marry Erik if he lets them go. Christine kissed Erik. Erik is very touched by this, for it is the first time he has been kissed.
The second evidence to support my answer is when Erik has change of heart and release Christine he does so to allow Christine and Raoul to be together. He also decides not to harm Raoul and the Persian.
The last evidence is in the chapter ten of the novel The Phantom of the Opera when the Persian tells Madame Giry the unhappy story of Erik. The story is about Erik’s died. Nobody knows where Christine and Raoul have gone to.

    2. From your point of view, do you like or dislike the ending of story? Give reasons to support your answer.
    (20 marks)

    Answer :-
Yes, I liked the ending of the novel, The Phantom of the Opera. It ends on a positive note. We can see that Christine Daaè and Raoul, who were Erik’s captives, were released. Erik sacrificed his love for her so that she could find happiness with the man she loved, Raoul. It shows that an evil man like Erik was not entirely bad. I am particularly moved by his death, resulting from a broken heart. Christine and Raoul married each other, and stayed for another country.

    Answers:

Based on the novel the Phantom of the Opera, i would like to describe the ending of the novel. Christine Daae' kiss the Phantom sincerly to release Raoul and The Persian. The Phantom release Christine and let her married with Raoul

For weeks, all Paris talked about that night at the opera. Nobody knows what happens to Daae' and Raoul. The Persian meet Madame Giry and they talk about the two young couple and the Phantom. Madame Giry ask the Persian if the Phantom had die or not. The Phantom said slowly "The Phantom is dead now.The body was found three days ago by The Persian.

The Phantom is a man actually. His name is Erik. He was born in France and he was the famous builder.

The Persian and Madame Giry talk about the two young couple. Nobody in Paris ever saw Raoul and Christine again. They probably took train to the north and lived a quiet, happy life together there.

I would like to stress again that Raoul and Christine lived happily ever after in the north.

From your point of view, state whether you like or dislike the ending of the story.

Based on the novel The Phantom of the Opera, i would like to describe why i like the ending of the story. My first evidence is, i like Christine married with Raoul because Raoul had fight for Christine love since he met Christine at Brittany. Christine was so lucky to get good looking husband like Raoul. Raoul was so kind, loving, handsome and come from a wealthy aristocrat family. It makes many girl obsses with him.

My second evidence is Raoul wiling to search Christine when Christine had been caught by the Phantom. It shows Raoul was worrried about Christine safety.

My last evidence is Erik force Christine to married him eventhough Christine didn't love him. I don't like Erik's manner. Raoul fight for Christine love with telling her I love u smoothly and gentle.

I would like to stress once again that i like the ending of the novel.

    1. Based on the novel Phantom of the Opera written by Gaston Leroux, describe the ending of the story. Give evidence from the text to support your answer.
    (20 marks)

Based on the novel Phantom of The Opera written by Gaston Leroux, I would like to describe about the ending of the story. This story is mainly about the mysteries surrounding the Opera House in Paris. It revolves around 15-th century.
The writer elaborates the ending story uniquely. The ending is actually quite dramatic. Erik the phantom threaten Christine Daae to marry him or she will see her lover,Raoul die instantly with The Persian. Both of them are trap in the torture chamber set up by Erik. They are actually dying because of the air in the room is getting hotter and hotter. Suddenly, Christine give him a lovely kiss on his lips. Erik was very shocked and touched of her behaviour. Erik let Christine and Raoul go and pursuit their happiness together when he actually realise that Raoul is meant for Christine. Erik then walk away.
A few days later, Madame Giry pays a visit to The Persian. She asks him about Erik, Christine and Raoul as the whole Paris are talking about them. The Persian answered her question in a sorrow tone saying that unluckily,Erik died. That answeres why nobody had ever see him again. As for Christine and Raoul, The Persian himself do not know where they are actually at, but, he believed that the loving couples maybe have gone together. Maybe they want to get a new life by seeking other countries. The most important thing is, the couples lived together happily ever after.
I would like to stress again that Gaston Leroux has end up this story with Erik`s death and left everyone wondering where have Christine and Raoul went to. Gaston prefers living the readers wondering about the truth themselves.

    2. From your point of view, do you like or dislike the ending of story? Give reasons to support your answer.
    (20 marks)

Yes, I really like the ending of the novel the Phantom of The Opera written by Gaston Leroux. The ending is written slowly anti-climaxing the story.
Firstly because justice has serves. The good ones are alive and they bear fruits of success.Erik, the bad guy, is dead. He died because a broken heart. Whereas Christine and Raoul are free to get married happily and start a new journey living together. After all the challenging journey they both went together, it all pays up by getting true love.
The second point is the ending was written as what I like it to be. I do not bear seeing Christine living with Erik as his wife. They are not meant together. Not to be cruel, I also do not want Christine to reject poor Erik. Luckily, Christine`s kiss make Erik realise that he is not meant for Christine and release them for good. He also blessed their marriage. That is one big sacrificed made by Erik.
Lastly, I like the ending because it signifies the end of Erik`s sufferings. Erik has actually free himself from the “hell” he created. Erik suffered a lot since small with hatefulness given by his own mother. He lost his self-esteem and becomes a “ghost” in the Opera House to keep others away from him. He is torn between love and respect when he met Christine. He respects her as a student but love her for she is the first person that make him fall in love. At last, he back out when he realised that Raoul is better for her. He is said to be dead with a broken heart.
I would like to stress again that I really like the ending of this story. It shows up good ending , justice and the most important thing is it is end up just the way I like.

Based on the novel The Phantom of The Opera written by Gaston Leroux i wouldlike to describe about the ending of the story. The ending is Christian kiss. The first evidence to support my answer is the incedent when Christian kiss Erik. That time he touch with Christian kindness. It also made Erik realise that he need to let Christian live happily. Moreover, the power of Christian kiss not only save her but save Raoul and the Persian from dead. After Erik let Christian go,he also ask Christian to brought them with her.The last evidence is because of Christian kiss she is able to live happily with Raoul.I sure they are live together because ni one see them in Paris after that incident.I would like to stress once again that Cristian Daae' kiss is the End of The Phantom of The Opera.

    QUESTION 2

Based on the novel The Phantom of The Opera written by Gaston Leroux I would like to describe why I like the ending of the story. The first evidence to support my answer is it is very dramatic.I can see the dramatic scene is when Raoul and the Persian is struggle to save Christian at the house on the lake.Lastly Erik release them. Moreover, the ending is vwery mysterious. This is because no one saw Raoul and Christian in Paris again. There are rumors that said they took a to Norway. But I am sure they are live happily together. The last evidence is the ending also give me a strong moral value. The moral value is do not judge the book by it's cover.Like Christian that kiss Erik however he has a ugly face.I would like to stress once again that I very like the ending of The Phantom of The Opera.

My first evidence is Erik dead because he did not want to live any longer. After he got a first kiss from Christine,he set her free. 32. 1. Based on the novel Phantom of the Opera written by Gaston Leroux, desribe the ending of the story. Give evidence from the text to support your answer.

Based on the novel Phantom of the Opera, written by Gaston Leroux, I would like to describe the ending of the story. It is when the Phantom wanted to kill the Persian and Erik and after that, Madamme Giry visit the Persian.

The story to support my answer started when Christine Daae was kidnapped by Erik. The Persian and Raoul went searching Christine. The Persian knows Erik secrets so he went down under the Opera House. Until he found a door and went into the door. But, unluckily, they went into the wrong door. They were trapped in Erik's room of torture. The room was very hot and they were getting thirsty. The room was full of moving pictures. Pictures of rivers, trees and plants dancing and laughing around.

But on the other side, Erik and Christine Daae were looking at the two unlucky men. Erik was laughing hapily while Christine was crying heavily. At that moment, Erik gave a permission to let the men free. But there was a condition. Christine must marry Erik. So, from that moment, Christine was Erik's wife. So, the Persian and Raoul were free from the horrible room. Raoul took Christine away.

On Chapter 10, Madamme Giry met the Persian and asked about the Phantom or his real name, Erik. The Persian told that Erik was dead by that time so he can talked about Erik. Erik was an ugly man where he was abandoned by his mother. But he was a really smart person. He helped built the Opera House. He built the house near the lake. He also built some trap doors and knew how to play with ropes. But Madamme Giry asked one last question. What happened to Christine Daae and Vicomte Raoul? And the Persian smiled and said that who knows what happened to them. Nobody had ever seen them ever again.

I would like to stress again that the story ended when Erik freed up the Persian and Raoul and when Madamme Giry met the Persian and asked about Christine Daae and Vicomte Raoul.

  33. 2. From your point of view, do
you like or dislike the ending of story? Give reasons to support your answer.

From my point of view, I like the ending of the story. The time during the Persian and Raoul going to die in thirst, Christine willingly kissed Erik and married him from that point. So, the Persian and Raoul were being freed. That shows that Chritine would sacrifies anything to love Raoul. Before Christine kissed Erik, she was forced to marry him if she wanted to see her friends lived. That is a big sacrifies. We can make this incident as a lesson of us.

Secondly, I like this story because of the charateristic of the Phantom of the Opera. His real name was actually Erik and he was actually a man in the end. He wanted a women's love. He never get a kissed by his own mother. But he was special. He was a really clever men that helped built the Opera House itself. He was smart enough to play with ropes and he can be in some places at a time. But he was really ugly. Nobody wanted to see his face. he proof that nobody is perfect.

Third, and the last, the ending of the story is mysterious. We can never know what happened to Christine Daae and Vicomte Raoul. They might be in north in Norway, happily living. Or, they might get seperated during their journey. Who knows? The mysterious ending fit my interest.

I would like to stress again that I like the ending of the story. It shows sacrifies, shows that nobody is perfect and the mysterious part.
